‘CAN chair’는 누군가를 지탱해 주는 의자처럼 창작가들에게 도움이 되고자 하는 꾸아르누의 지향점을 담은 아트워크입니다. ‘CAN’은 ‘CuAleuNu’의 약어인 동시에 ‘할 수 있다’는 뜻을 가진 동사이기도 합니다.

CAN chair는 2019년에 만들기 시작해 2022년에 비로소 완성되었습니다. 꾸아르누가 모여 작업할 수 있는 환경을 찾기가 어려웠고 목재를 처음 다루어 수많은 난관에 부딪혔습니다. 하지만 여러 노력 덕분에 CAN chair는 그 이름처럼 ‘무엇이든 할 수 있다’는 믿음을 주는 상징적인 작업물이 되었습니다.
