Generally, art is a realm of expression. Although our methods vary, art remains the common thread that connects the three of us at Cualeunu.
“Water, Finding Balance” is the title of a work that won an award at a video contest commemorating World Water Day. We created a kinetic artwork to intuitively explain the relationship between fossil fuels and water. By composing original music and adding narration, we shared a message about reducing fossil fuel use through small, daily actions. I still remember us hugging one another after finishing the outdoor shoot in the freezing cold. It was an experience where we learned the power of teamwork and expanded the possibilities of our expression.
Every time fossil fuels are added to the buckets on either end, the Earth loses its balance and depletes its water.
